FAQs / Help

Is the Farm Covid Secure?

Yes, the farm is a Covid Secure Business. We have carried out a full Risk Assessment and have reviewed our procedures to ensure we are following all current  Government Covid guidance.

Please remember The Farm is an outdoor environment where the risk of Covid Transmission has been proven to be statistically insignificant.

Whilst we are following Covid guidance and taking every resonable precaution, the farm is not a surgical environment and you will encounter other people during your visit.

We all share responsibility for Social Distancing. Please do not book tickets if you are not comfortable with this or have expectations beyond current Government Guidelines or what is reasonably practical in an outdoor environment.

What if there is a Lockdown or you cancel the event?

PYO is considered essential food retail and the farm will remain open through any lockdown.

In the event you are required to seld isolate or cannot attend due to government restrictions we will try our best to re-schedule your booking. Proof of your status may be required.

In the event we are forced to close completely due to government guidance or lockdown, we will offer a refund for the ticket value of our booking less booking fee. Please do not book unless you are comfortable with this.

What if I have Covid Symptoms or am self isolating

Please do not visit the Farm if you are exhibiting Covid Symptoms.

If you are unable to attend due to developing Covid Symptoms or because you've received a request to self isolate from the NHS, you must inform us before your booked time slot and provide evidence of your self isolation request.

We will try to change your booking to another date.

Do I need to wear a Face Covering?

Yes, Face Coverings are required in certain areas of the Farm.

Face coverings are not currently required when picking fruit as this takes place outdoors where there is minimal risk of transmission.

In accordance with current UK law, face coverings are required in our indoor spaces (PYO kiosk, Tea Shack and Ice Cream Parlour). Those who are exempt need not wear face coverings, however our staff are required to ask for evidence of your right to exemption.

This is to prevent misunderstandings and also to reassure other customers present at the event. Sadly abuse of the expemption system is too commonplace for us to proceed any other way.

Customers are reminded to continue to wear Face Coverings when exiting as you may pass the entry gate on your way out where other customers are waiting.

Who needs to buy a ticket?

Under current Government guidelines, everyone entering our events is required to purchase a ticket, regardless of age. Please note that children may not enter unless they are accompanied by a responsible adult.

Sorry but we do not offer concessionary prices.

What if it rains or there is bad weather?

Your tickets are to an outdoor event which is subject to The Great British weather. In the event of bad weather, please dress warmly and bring waterproofs as the show will go on!

Rain and wind are part and parcel of outdoor events and life on the farm. We cannot reschedule bookings if weather conditions aren't great on the day you've booked for, this the risk you take in booking for an outdoor event!. We strongly advise you not to book a ticket for our events if you aren't comfortable to attend in the rain or cold.

Refunds will only be issued in the very unlikely event that we cancel the event.

Is there wheelchair or pushchair access?

Wheelchairs may be taken into the Woodland but please be advised our theatre takes place in a real Woodland setting on a working farm. Due to planning and agricultural resitrictions, there are no paved walkways on the farm and the woods can be difficult to traverse, particularly after bad weather. Only the hard standing area around the ice cream parlour is suitable for wheelchair use.

Buggies are not permitted into the Wonder Woods due to space restructions. Buggies may be safely left with the staff at the entrance gate and collected once your visit has finished.

Can I change my booking?

No, once booked tickets cannot be changed.

Please double check you are booking for the correct time and date.

Do you issue refunds?

We cannot accept responsibilities for circumstances outside of our control including poor weather, customers arriving late, illness or self isolation.

Please remember you are booking a ticket to an outdoor venue. In the event of poor weather 'the show goes on'. Refunds will only be issued in the very unlikely event that we cancel your booking.

We strongly urge all customers to check traffic and weather conditions on the day of departure and leave enough time for unexpected delays and to park on site. We suggest you plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the time of your booking.

We are unable to refund double bookings or 'ghost bookings' made simply to 'reserve a space' In the event of an error, we cannot accept responsibility for your mistake.

In the your tickets are no longer required, we will offer them to our waiting list, but cannot offer any guarantee they will sell.  In the event your tickets do sell, we are only able to refund the ticket value of your booking, Booking fee's are non refundable.
